O - RING

O-rings are a round ring shaped seal which can function as a dynamic and a static seal to prevents liquid or gas leak between two adjoining mechanical parts. There are 3 kind of international standards such as: American Series (AS558A), Japanese Series (JIS), European Series (Metric/ISO/DIN 3771). With a various material, such as: NBR (Nitrile), FKM/FPM (Viton), PTFE (Teflon), FMQ (Silicone), EPDM Peroxide Cured and Sulfur Cured, Neoprene (CR), HNBR, Etc.

ROTARY SEAL

Rotary seals are also known as Oil seals or Radial seals Oil seals are used to prevent oil leakage from rotary shaft and housing clearance. It has a flexible lip that rubs against a shaft or housing to prevent leakage or ingress of fluid and dirt.. There are many types of Rotary seals. Seal selection is based on shaft diameter, housing bore diameter and width, shaft speed, working temperature, fluid, pressure differential and service conditions.

HYDRAULIC & PNEUMATIC SEALS

Hydraulic rod seals prevents leakage of fluid within the cylinder to the outside while Hydraulic piston seals prevents fluid from flowing across the cylinder head. This allows pressure build up on one side of the piston, making the cylinder extend or retract. Wear rings guide the piston and piston rod within the hydraulic cylinder, absorbing transverse forces, preventing metal-to-metal contact. Scrapers or wipers prevents contamination by wiping dirt, foreign particles, ships or moisture from the piston rods as they retract into the cylinder.

FLEXY SEALS

Flexi seals function the same way as the Hydraulic seals, but the physical attributes similar to rotary seals with spring loaded. U-shape spring energized seals function with single acting sealing element. The spring which energizes the PTFE jacket actuates the sealing’s legs (lips) of the seal. Flexi seals are mostly used on packaging machinery for liquid products, like cooking oil or bottled drinking water.

MECHANICAL SEALS

Mechanical seals are a sealing device with adjoining combination between a sealface that sticks on a rotating surface and another unmoving sealface that sticks on a wall of a static casing or pump housing.Sealface is the most crucial and important part of a mechanical seal. It acts as the main fluid blocking point, also known as primary sealing device. There are Carbon, silicon carbide, tungsten carbide and ceramic based material. The point of surface contact design as smooth as 1 to 2 lightband.
